Why this company exists

Pathology generates some of the richest biological signal in drug discovery. Most of it is completely inaccessible to AI. Inconsistent annotations, proprietary formats, and reports designed for human eyes rather than model training all stand in the way. The field is sitting on an enormous asset it hasn't figured out how to unlock — and the services infrastructure around pathology hasn't helped.

We offer expert pathology consultation and quantitative image analysis for drug discovery and preclinical teams — fast turnarounds, transparent pricing, and scientific partnership that actually means something. We're also developing model-ready annotated image datasets to start closing the gap between pathology data and the AI tools that need it.

Founder & CEO

Stephen's career spans digital pathology CRO sales, preclinical CRO business development, and rare disease strategy consulting — building deep commercial fluency across the full tissue-to-data pipeline. He has built territories from the ground up, including growing a digital pathology CRO's New England business to a multi-million dollar annual run rate with biopharma accounts spanning Sanofi, Alexion, Alnylam, and Flagship Pioneering.

He founded Tissue Biosciences to close the gap between exceptional pathology services and the AI-ready data that drug discovery teams actually need.

Jack Wilson

Commercial leader working at the intersection of translational research, histopathology, and biospecimen-derived data. Jack's background spans wet-lab neuroscience, clinical diagnostics, gene delivery, and CRO and biospecimen infrastructure — giving him a rare ability to navigate both the technical and operational sides of translational workflows.

His work is focused on a problem that quietly undermines drug discovery: biospecimens that are technically collected but scientifically unusable downstream due to missing or inconsistent metadata, poor annotation, or broken study continuity.
